In everyone’s life, there is a person who stands as a true hero. For me, that hero is my father, M.M.M. Upul Ajantha.


At the age of 58, he serves as a Cultural Promotion Officer in Charge of the Site, carrying out his duties with great responsibility and dedication. His work is not just a profession, but a service to preserve and promote our valuable culture and heritage.


He is a strong and inspiring individual who has committed his life to protecting cultural values and traditions. Through his role, he helps others understand the importance of our history and identity. His passion for culture and his sense of duty make him truly admirable.


As my father, he is my greatest strength and guide. His wisdom, discipline, and kindness have shaped the person I am today. He always encourages me to do my best and never give up, no matter how difficult life becomes.


To me, my father, M.M.M. Upul Ajantha, is not just a professional, but a true hero—my inspiration, my protector, and the greatest role model in my life.

C. W. W. Kannangara is one of the most respected figures in the history of Sri Lanka. He is widely known as the Father of Free Education because of his great contribution to making education accessible to all children in the country. Born on October 13, 1884, Kannangara showed great talent in his studies from a young age. He was a brilliant student and later became a teacher.
